Minnesota/Dallas o211 -110 1.10u to win 1u
One play tonight on the game between Minnesota and Dallas and it's on the over 211 for the full game. So far all three games have gone over and its mostly because Minnesota hasn't been able to slow down Dallas's backcourt tandem of Luka and Kyrie. Also in this game I see it going over because Derek Lively isn't available tonight and I think that will help Minnesota's offense a little so I see them being able to score enough points to help this one over the total. I lean Minnesota in this one because I think they'll be able to do enough to win this game but I feel the over is the better play because I think both teams are going to score plenty especially with Lively out and Minnesota not being able to stop Kyrie and Luka from going off in this one.

Just one play tonight and I decided to lay the points with Minnesota. After they got game 4 my thinking was that they get game 5 and then Dallas closes it out at home in game 6. I still feel this way and now that they're back home in Minnesota I'm backing them to get it done tonight. Minnesota finally got a good game from KAT last game and I think guys like him and Naz Reid play better at home so Minnesota wins this game and does so by margin. Another thing that has me off Dallas this game is Derek Lively questionable tag for this game. He might play and if he does that's great for Dallas but how effective he is remains to be seen because he was seriously hurt in game 3. It might not matter though because I expect Minnesota to be energized by their home crowd and win this one by margin.

Huge game tonight
Huge game tonight
0-1 tonight as Minnesota gets destroyed at home which I must admit I never saw coming. I'm happy for Luka and I'm looking forward to the Finals it should be a good one between the two best teams. I think Dallas wins in 6 but this playoffs hasn't really gone how I've expected it to go judging by my results which have been poor as of late.

Overall record: 176-187-4 -30.98 Units
Just tallied my up to date record and it's not pretty but capping these games is hard in this sport especially when you make plays every day like I have been doing. I am still going to fight to the end in the Finals but it's hard not to be a little embarrassed by my record.

That's true I'm just referring to being 30 units down but the NBA is so random that a guy like me who knows the sport pretty well can lose when it comes to betting a league with so much variance day to day.
At least you have the balls to put your record and units out there. Win or lose I commend you for that.

All right guys since I was little bummed out about my being 30 units down I decided to fire on a couple of futures for the Finals. I am backing Dallas as I've made clear in other threads because they have the best player on the floor and arguably the second best player. I think they can ride that to a series victory because Luka will seize the moment and he'll have plenty of help from Kyrie not to mention other role players ready to step up like PJ Washington, Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively.
I went with Dallas 4-2 because I think this will be a tough series for both teams. They match up very well with each other and I think because of that they'll both be able to win a game on the road here. Then in game 5 I see Dallas taking another one in Boston before coming home and finishing the job in 6. I got a nice price at +490 so I fired on that because I think that's plenty fine enough especially since that is what I think will happen here if Dallas wins like I think they will.

Ok guys the NBA Finals are finally here and I have four plays for game 1. First off I took the over 215 because I think this total is way too low for as good as both these offenses are. I mean they set it this low because their defensive ratings are good but I don't think either defense is good enough to completely stifle the opponent. Both offenses are elite and shoot a bunch of 3's. I think that leads to this being an over series for the most part and the books adjusting as we go along.
Next I took Jrue Holiday o4.5 assists. I think he will go over this because he's going to play a lot of minutes in this series since they're going to need him on defense to do what he can to slow down Luka. This should give him plenty of opportunities on offense to get some assists because I think the Celtics will try to get Luka in pick and roll action which will lead to some assists from Holiday because they will get good shots doing this.
Next up I took Derrick White o2.5 three pointers made. He's gone over this prop 8 times this postseason and the Celtics shoot plenty of 3's so I expect him to get enough threes up to hit at least three in this one.
Last but not least I like Luka to go over 40.5 Points+Assists. The Celtics are going to try to force the ball out of his hands as much as they can which means Luka's teammates are going to have beat Boston here although Luka will still get his points because he's Luka. I just think 30+ points and 10+ assists is doable for him here because his usage will be high as usual in this series and his teammates will knock down shots in what I think will be a high scoring game.

This one is a tough one. I think Dallas is live and +6.5 points is a lot of points when asking me to pick a side in a game I think will be fairly close. Gun to my head I'd take the 6.5 points but I think we're going to get a competitive game every time out in this series and I think that favors Dallas because they have two closers.
