BetClass cancels winning Superbowl bet two weeks after the match

BetClass downgraded to 1 (2) and to Red List. The Malta-based bookmaker cancelled a winning bet on the Super Bowl two weeks after the game had been played claiming a system error. The bet had been placed on January 14. BetClass justified its action with the application of the palpable error rule. Bookmakers Review considers unacceptable the use of such rule after the end of the event, particularly when like in this case the bookmaker had three weeks before the event to take the appropriate action.
