17-04-2008: The owner of npbet.co.uk, following continued poor trading conditions and pending further clarification of the company\’s financial position, requested a suspension of trading of its shares on AIM.
UPDATE 24-04-2008: Further to the company\’s suspension from AIM, Neville Porter closed its online betting site with immediate effect. While we wait for players to confirm payments, the rating coverage of npbet.co.uk has been suspended.
UPDATE 30-04-2008: “All the funds have been repaid to the clients, any deposits or cash lodged with us to bet with has been repaid in full,” bookmaker Neville Porter told The Journal, while confirming that the betting site will not be re-opened after the staff has been made redundant.
