Along with the challenge to traditional betting companies, the betting exchanges are promoting the rapid convergence of betting products with main financials products. We can already trade on sports contingency risk (relegation is a classic example), it is then not difficult to imagine a willing seller and a willing buyer of any sort of risk, meeting on some sort of engine where risk transfer products have been developed.
