Following the recent soccer match-fixing scandal, the state-owned German bookmaker will no longer accept bets from any players, trainers or referees for matches in which they are directly involved.
After the scandal broke, many German clubs called for a ban on players betting.
The German Football Association (DFB) and the German Football League (DFL) must now include the ban on players placing wagers on their own matches through Oddset into their regulations.
