To complement its online, print, radio and television marketing campaigns, the international digital entertainment and gaming company announced a new advertising deal that will see six large Allegiant Air passenger jets externally and internally branded in the colours and logo of Bodog.
The Allegiant passenger jets will fly between Las Vegas and 32 nonstop Allegiant Air destinations. Passengers flying in any of these Bodog.com-branded jets will have a chance to win their next trip to Las Vegas when they sign up for a Bodog.com account and deposit a minimum of $20.
“Our advertising partnership with Allegiant Air is a natural fit for us. Branding encompasses everything from good customer service to strategic advertising positioning and targeting,” said Calvin Ayre, Founder and CEO of Bodog.com.
“This in-air branding exercise will allow us to target a specific player demographic, while continuing to expand the presence of our brand throughout the continental United States.”
In separate news, Calvin Ayre released full details of the six-episode reality show, which will be taped in March at the Bodog compound in Costa Rica.
The television series will intimately detail the journey of 40 individuals – 10 celebrities, 10 poker professionals and 20 Bodog poker players – who intend to use their card-playing skills to capture a $500,000 grand prize. Each episode will feature a poker game, with each winner taking $50,000 and securing a spot at the sixth and final table for a chance to win the half-million-dollar grand prize.
“We are on a mission to find the next poker star and eager to showcase the play hard aspects of the Bodog lifestyle,” said Ayre.
“Poker and television — combined with Bodog-style entertainment — will make for one heck of a show, and our next step into the world of reality TV.”
