“The USA was thoroughly defeated, forcing it to conclude that it would withdraw from the General Agreement on Trade in Services to which it is a signatory,” Lionel Hurst told Carib World News.
“That is an error. The U.S.A. cannot remove itself from agreements because the results are contrary to its expectations. The WTO is a deliberative body, not an arm of the U.S. government,” he added.
