Kari Rajamaki, the Minister of Interior, said the foundation of the Finnish betting model has proved to be a functioning one and Finland is well poised to defend it, including at EU level.
Rajamaki spoke a couple of weeks ago, after that the European Commission sent official requests for information on national legislation restricting the supply of sport betting services to Finland and other six Member States.
