The AIM listed developer of software for the entertainment industry announced that the first product to be launched under the newly developed Playwize brand will be Pokerwize, the world\’s first virtual reality, 3D and Voice over IP-enabled poker game.
Helen Chamberlain, Soccer AM co-host and big money winner in the 2005 Poker Million Tournament, provides a 3D visual likeness and voiceover for Pokerwize\’s interactive tutorial.
“The Board is extremely pleased to be working with Helen Chamberlain for our unique interactive tutorial, which we are confident will help most users to become better poker players. We are excited about the Pokerwize concept and believe it will prove a strong beginning for the Playwize portfolio of products,” said Foo Katan, CEO of Bits Corp.
In separate news, Excapsa Software said that its wholly owned subsidiary, Game Theory, has signed a long-term development deal with Callister Development to develop proprietary elimination style tournament blackjack and multi-player blackjack software products. These new games are on schedule to be released in the third quarter and will be initially licensed to UltimateBet.com and to Bet21.com, which becomes the ninth licensee within the Excapsa gaming network.
