eBay and its subsidiary PayPal are taking opposing stances in relation to the ban of internet gambling in the US. While the popular online marketplace has clearly embraced the ban of internet gambling, PayPal Europe has established business relations with some of the major online betting companies in Europe, including Betfair, Ladbrokes and BetandWin.
If the Internet Gambling Prohibition and Enforcement Act wins approval from US Senate, it would become close to impossible for PayPal to continue its business relationships with online betting companies based out of Europe.
