Interactive Systems Worldwide\’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Global Interactive Gaming, has signed an agreement with Hipodromo de Agua Caliente to provide its SportXction software and services to the leading Latin America\’s gaming company.

Under the initial three-year agreement, Caliente will be able to offer enhanced play-by-play sports betting in the 160 betting shops and Race & Sports Books it owns and operates in Mexico and other Latin America countries. The enhanced betting capabilities will also be available on the Caliente website.

“With Caliente prominent and well-positioned in Mexico, Latin America and elsewhere, this partnership agreement marks a significant milestone for ISWI and GIG,” said Bernard Albanese, Chief Executive of ISWI. “This new contract also proves that GIG, our subsidiary, is breaking new ground. We believe this business segment holds compelling growth opportunities for the future.”

“This agreement will be GIG\’s first straight licensing transaction where the company is not responsible for the operational expenses of running the system. After a successful launch, we hope to replicate this model in other parts of the world, and are in fact already in discussion with several other potential licensing partners,” added Albanese.
