According to Nielsen//NetRatings, in the second quarter of 2006, the number of internet bettors in Spain increased by 137 per cent up to 3.46 million.
During the same period, the number of pages visited by internet surfers who like to bet online or to have access to statistics about betting, reached 129 million, up 57 per cent year-on-year. Each bettor visited an average of 37 pages and while this number is down compared to the average of 57 pages visited in 2005, the total number of session increased by 16 per cent to 6.8.
