The betting exchange, which started processing bets in Australia six weeks ago, has officially launched its office and call centre in Tasmania. Tasmanian Premier Paul Lennon, PBL\’s James Packer and Betfair\’s British co-founder Edward Wray attended the official launch in Hobart.
“We are obviously delighted that more and more industry and regulatory bodies are looking at the way Betfair does business as an improvement, both from a consumer and a regulatory position,” said Packer.
