Chief Executive Patrick Kennedy said the Irish bookmaker was looking at the possibility of introducing other European-language websites, after the launch of a German-language website in April.
“The ones we\’ve looked at in the last three or six months have been Spain and Poland,” he said.
Paddy Power is also considering moving into Italy, which is in the midst of opening up its betting market by licensing more remote gaming providers.
“The company may have a presence there within three years,” said Kennedy.
Elsewhere, Bwin revealed that next year it could invest only one third of its estimated EUR 64 million budget for the German market.
