Gambling.com targets international expansion

Following the announcement of a record year-on-year after tax profit growth of 400%, the online gambling portal\’s parent company Media Corporation plc has targeted accelerated international expansion, outside the US, as a key goal.

“In line with the company strategy of dominating search in specific vertical markets, our vision for Gambling.com is to encompass all our customer’s requirements in the most informative and efficient way possible – whether they’re searching for online casinos, the latest sporting odds or hotels in Vegas, Gambling.com will help them find exactly what they’re looking for,” said Chief Executive Justin Drummond.

Elsewhere, online casino operator Gaming VC said its CEO Steve Barlow stepped down as the group intends to fight a lawsuit filed in the US by Fort Knox Consulting, which is seeking unspecified damages after Gaming VC allegedly failed to acknowledge a commission over a M&A work.

Online casino software provider Net Entertainment has appointed Johan Ohman as its new Chief Executive, with outgoing CEO Pontus Lindwall continuing as Chairman of the company.

Gambling software developer Boss Media has appointed Meg Tivéus, former President of Svenska Spel, as its new Chairwoman, after that Björn Nordstrand resigned in order to avoid any challenge with regards to possible future business transactions between Boss Media and the company Nordstrand founded.
