Bwin and Werder Bremen cancel shirt sponsorship deal

While an Austrian business newspaper reports that the Vienna’s public prosecutor’s office is examining possible Bwin’s share price manipulation on the part of four bankers and a private investor, the German soccer team Werder Bremen said continuation of both jersey and main sponsorship with Austrian bookmaker Bwin is no longer possible due to legal restrictions. Bwin will remain only as the official betting partner.
