Bookies report a surge in betting on Hillary Clinton

While at the beginning of June polls suggested Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama were virtually tied for Democratic nomination, TheStreet.com says online bettors are putting their money on Hillary Clinton to secure the Democratic nomination and go on to win the 2008 presidential election. “The market is saying she has a lock on the nomination. That’s what the punters are telling us.” commented a spokesperson for Cantor Spreadfair.
