The Financial Times reports that online bookmakers are ready to turn their backs on Tour De France betting after this year’s race descended further into chaos with the sacking of race leader Michael Rasmussen. The Danish rider, who missed random drug tests in May and June as he was reportedly training in Mexico, had been spotted in the Dolomites at the beginning of June by Italian television commentator Davide Cassani.
