The two online gaming software developers reported strong financial results for the three months ended September 30, notwithstanding the traditionally slow summer season for internet gambling. CryptoLogic increased its revenue by 7.8% to $17.5 million compared with the second quarter and completed the acquisition of Casino.co.uk. Subsequent to the quarter’s end, the company agreed to acquire an initial position in Mikoishi Studios, one of Asia’s best-known game developers in the mobile phone market, with an option to increase its stake in the future.
