Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixtures below and lists the best available odd from green listed bookmakers.

Nadal vs. Groth
The nine-time Roland Garros champion, Rafael Nadal, starts his campaign against the Australian big server, Sam Groth.

Groth is far from a good clay court player, throughout his career he only played four matches on ATP main draw events on clay, with a 1 – 3 record. His only victory occurred in Houston, where the conditions are much faster when compared to the European clay courts, against Victor Estrella Burgos. Sam has been struggling with a neck injury yet, the Australian couldn’t miss the opportunity of playing on this event with a very appealing first round paycheck.

There is no better place for Nadal to play tennis than Roland Garros and he arrives to this event after very good performance in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Madrid and Rome. Nadal knows very well how to play against big servers like Groth and with the Australian struggling with a neck problem, it will be very hard for him to serve at his best. Nadal is the undeniable favourite for this contest and he should crush his opponent on this match with his odds at 1/100 while Groth is offered at 40/1, both on Pinnacle Sports. A good way to approach this game is by placing a bet on Nadal’s game handicap at -11.5 games 49/50 on Marathonbet.

Seppi vs. Gulbis
Looking to the matches scheduled for tomorrow, one of the highlights of the day goes for the contest between Andreas Seppi and Ernest Gulbis.

Gulbis is still trying to return to the level that allowed him to reach the French Open semi-finals in 2014. Even though Gulbis only won 28.57% of the matches he played this year, the Latvian has been playing at a much better level lately and he’s a kind of player who can never be underestimated on the big stages.

Seppi is also trying to find his best tennis after some weeks away from competition due to a hip injury. Andreas is a solid baseline player with good counter punching skills yet, he was only able to win 1 of his previous 6 meetings against Gulbis.

Despite Ernest’s lead on h2h, five of those meetings went to distance and that’s one of the reasons why Gulbis is priced as slight favourite for this contest at 4/5 on William Hill while Seppi can be found at 11/10 on Coral.
