IT\’S been another memorable week for Leicester City and it\’s looks set to continue at the weekend when they host Burnley at the King Power Stadium.
Foxes\’ fans still can\’t believe that they won the Premier League last season and they continued in dreamland in midweek when they made their Champions League debut on Wednesday night and totally destroyed Bruges 3-0 in Belgium, a win that will see them arrive back at home in confident mood ahead of this one.
The title holders\’ have felt the nerves at the start of the new season and they haven\’t had the greatest of starts with them just currently lying in the relegation zone after just one win in their first four matches, but they are unbeaten at home and they should be far too strong on Saturday for newly promoted Burnley.
The bookies aren\’t giving much away with the home side who are priced up at 1.55 among Green Listed Bookmakers which was slashed during and after their Champions League success in mid-week, but 1.55 for the title holders at home to one of this seasons relegation favourites is still a bet that I am prepared to take.
If this was a Chelsea, Man United or a Man City hosting Burnley 1.20 would be the price on offer and 1.55 mightn\’t appeal to all players this weekend, but it\’s a must for the weekend Premier League accumulator.
Burnley have had a big win already this season beating Liverpool 2-0 but that was at home and away from Turf Moor it\’s a very different story where they\’ve lost both games they\’ve played this season and failed to score a single goal and a Leicester win to nil looks worthy of playing at 2.55 with BetVictor. If you believe that the Clarets can end their away day blues 7.00 is the price that the bookies will give you, but without a win in their last five visits to Leicester it\’s not one that I will be getting involved in.
Jamie Vardy broke the Premier League goalscoring record last season with goals in 11 consecutive matches and he\’s in the middle of a hot-streak again and I like a lot of Vardy related bets in thIs one.
The England international is 6.00 with Paddy Power to open the goalscoring which looks big and at 2.40 with the same firm to score atanytime for the fourth consecutive match that looks a banker bet, and at a monster 34.00 with Bet365 in what I believe will be a very one-sided clash take Vardy to have a party with a hat-trick.
