IN-FORM ARSENAL TO RUN RIOT AGAINST STRUGGLING MIDDLESBROUGH

IN-FORM Arsenal shouldn\’t have any problems when Middlesbrough make the long trip to the Emirates on Saturday.

The Gunners\’ are flying at the moment and despite the poor opposition in midweek, they were magnificent in the 6-0 hammering over Ludogarets in the Champions League. That victory was Arsene Wenger\’s sides seventh successive win and there is no team in better form than Arsenal in the Premier League at present.

The bookies have obviously taken note of that impressive run and just 1.28 is the best you are going to get on them extending their winning run to an impressive eight matches at the weekend.

The home side will win this, but I won\’t be taking the short odds but in all their home matches this season they\’ve scored at least goals and an Arsenal win and over 2.5 goals in the match looks the better value at 1.80, among Green Listed Bookmaker, with most of our featured firms as the Gunners\’ look more than capable of scoring three on their own.

Last season no side scored more late goals at home than Arsenal, but it\’s very different this season with them flying out of the blocks early and Arsenal to be leading at both half-time and full-time looks another way to get with the Wengerboys at 1.85 with Coral.

After a bright start to life in the Premier League it\’s all gone wrong very quickly at Middlesbrough and the Riversiders are in real danger of getting dragged into a relegation battle this season. Aitor Karanka\’s  side opened their Premier League campaign with a draw at home to Stoke and then a derby day win with Sunderland, but since that success at The Stadium of Light they\’ve failed to win in their last seven and offered nothing at all in the 1-0 defeat at home to Watford last weekend.

Middlesbrough haven\’t won in the Premier League at Arsenal in their last 10 visits and have had some heavy defeats in that period and another one looks on the cards. The last time the Tee-siders won at Arsenal was back on the 14th April 2001 when Destiny\’s Child where number one with Survivor and I don\’t think that they can survive the Arsenal at the weekend.
