The action continues in London with the players from the John McEnroe Group making their debut this Monday. Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixtures below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

Wawrinka vs. Nishikori

A high-quality contest is expected this Monday in London with Stan Wawrinka and Kei Nishikori facing each other in the John McEnroe Group’s opening match.

The last weeks haven’t been easy for Stan Wawrinka with only three victories in his last seven matches. After a disappointing loss in the BNP Paribas Masters opening round against Jan-Lennard Struff, Wawrinka is looking for a better performance in London. Despite his poor results in recent weeks, Stan said that he’s confident about a good campaign in the ATP World Tour Finals.

Kei Nishikori returns to the O2 Arena for the third consecutive year. Playing on Indoor Hard Court brings the best out of Nishikori with a solid 8 – 8 record against top 10 opponents in this surface since 2011. In fact, the Japanese never lost a match on these game conditions against a top 10 opponent when priced as favourite.

The bookmakers expect a very close match with Nishikori as the slight favourite at 91/100 at William Hill while Wawrinka is available at 51/50 at Pinnacle. Even though Stan usually raises his level on the big stages, Nishikori’s outstanding baseline game might be too much for Wawrinka to handle. Therefore, the value is clearly with the Japanese on this match.

Murray vs. Cilic

The new world no.1 – Andy Murray – makes his debut this Monday on the ATP World Tour Finals. Murray is in the best form of his career with eight titles already in 2016. However, Andy couldn’t imagine six months ago, after his defeat in the French Open final, that he would arrive in London as the world ranking leader.

With an outstanding 21 – 4 record since the Olympic Games, Marin Cilic booked a place in the ATP World Tour Finals for the second time in his career. Known for his powerful serve and aggressive baseline game, Cilic holds a terrific 72.26% winning record on Indoor Hard Court. The Croatian reaches this event after achieving one of his best victories ever against Novak Djokovic in Paris.

These two players have featured some remarkable battles in the past, with Cilic winning their last encounter in Cincinnati a few months ago. Murray is the main favourite for this match at 1/4 at Coral while Bet365 offers 11/4 for Cilic’s victory. Due to Marin’s remarkable serve and terrific form, this should be a much closer match than the odds suggest, which makes the 21.5 at 89/100 at Pinnacle the best betting approach for this contest.
