Fulham vs Tottenham

Saturday\’s FA Cup fifth round action looks to be a dull affair but the same cannot  be said on Sunday and we start with what looks the best match of the entire weekend in the London derby between Fulham and Tottenham.

The Premier League side are odds on favourites for this mouth-watering clash among green listed bookmakers, which isn\’t a surprise, but the 1.91 with Bet365 might come as one and despite their current poor form that is a price that looks too big to me and one to certainly get involved in.

In midweek Mauricio Pochettino\’s side disappointed in the 1-0 Europa League defeat at Gent which saw them suffer back-to-back defeats for the first time this year and without scoring in three of the last four as well they need to bounce back with a win at Craven Cottage.

When you are in the middle of a goal crisis one of the first teams that you would want to face is Fulham and I can see Tottenham ending their goal drought in some style at the weekend.

Goals are always on the menu in Fulham matches and getting with them in this one looks to be the best way for punters to profit.

There has been 15 goals scored in the last three Fulham home matches and in their last ten, seven of them have seen both teams scoring and eight have featured over 2.5 goals and both those bets at the general 1.62  and 1.66 looks the best bet for the neutrals.

I also wouldn\’t rule out over 3.5 goals and a more generous quote of 2.62 which has landed six times in those ten matches and with Tottenham edging past Wycombe 4-3 in the last round, that looks a bet as well.

Fulham are in great form with three successive home wins but with the play-offs the main priority in south west London I can\’t back them to pull-off a shock even at 4.50.

Goal scorer bets in this one should be avoided as the team news is crucial, but whoever plays I am still confident of goals and I like the Premier League side to make it into the quarter-finals with a 3-2 win which is a massive 23.00 with Will Hill and Stan James.
