Don’t miss our two top tennis plays for this Wednesday’s action with the quarter-finals taking place on the men’s competition. Bookmakers Review breaks down the fixtures below and lists the best available odds from green listed bookmakers.

Berdych vs. Djokovic

From all the eight players still in action on the men’s competition, Novak Djokovic is the only one who doesn’t have a rest day. Due to a poor decision from the organization, Novak had to play his 4th round match against Adrian Mannarino this Tuesday. Nevertheless, the three-time Wimbledon champion got the job done in straight sets after only 2:15 hours on court.

The 2010 Wimbledon runner-up – Tomas Berdych – is trying to book a place in the semi-finals of this event for the third time in his career. Despite his unquestionable talent, Berdych is famous for cracking under pressure against the players from the big 4. When looking at Tomas’ record against these opponents, the 31-year-old Czech only won 19.78% of his previous 91 matches against them.

In addition to Berdych’s terrible career numbers, Djokovic is by far the worst match-up for him with the Serbian leading on the h2h by 25 – 2. The bookmakers are aware of Novak’s dominance with the world no.4 available at 11/50 at William Hill while BetVictor offers 3/1 for Tomas to win. With this in mind, our recommendation is for you to take advantage of Djokovic’s -5 game handicap at 93/100 at Pinnacle.

Murray vs. Querrey

The world no.28 – Sam Querrey – continues his impressive run in Wimbledon. Playing on grass brings the best out of Querrey with a terrific 61.80% career record on this surface while his overall record on other surfaces is only 57.36%. After an incredible five-set victory against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the third round, the 29-year-old American also needed five sets in the previous match against Kevin Anderson.

At the age of 30, Andy Murray is trying to become the first British player to win three titles at the All England Club since Fred Perry back in 1936. Known as one of the greatest returners in tennis history, Murray won 86.36% of the matches played throughout his career on this event. Taking a look now at Andy’s numbers in the previous round against Benoit Paire, the world no.1 ended the match with 23 winners and only 7 unforced errors.

Despite Sam’s unquestionable quality on this surface, Murray is a terrible match-up for the American. For that reason, it’s not surprising to see Andy as the heavy favourite at 1/5 at Coral while Bet365 offers 9/2 for Querrey’s victory. Due to the low price on Murray’s moneyline, our advice is for you to place a bet on his -6 game handicap at 101/100 at Pinnacle.
