Friday night’s game is between Malaga, who have been struggling, and Levante, who are also not in great form. When you’ve got two poor sides, both desperate for the points, you often find the match ends in a draw. I’m staying out of this one but if you wanted to back the draw you could get 3.6 with green-listed bookmakers like BetVictor.
Saturday’s early game is between league leaders Barcelona and one of the sides that has impressed at times in this La Liga season, Celta Vigo. Heavy favourites Barcelona are unbeaten in their last 5 matches and I fully expect them to notch up another win here. I’m with Pinnacle on this one as they’re offering 1.61 for Barcelona -2 and although it’s not going to make you rich, it’s enough to get me involved.
An Atletico Madrid win against Real Sociedad is probably my strongest bet of the round as William Hill are offering that at 1.55. Again, not high odds but it really should win.
Sevilla v Deportivo La Coruna is another game that should be won by the home team, no value here though so I honestly can’t advise anything on the match odds market for this one. That doesn’t mean there are no bets. I like the odds for Both Teams To Score (Yes) and Bet365 are offering 1.75 on this happening. Sevilla are a strong home team but Depor have been consistent scorers on the road.
That finishes off Saturday’s betting for me as there’s nothing I like in the Athletic Bilbao v Real Madrid game for me.
Sunday is not an area for rich pickings. Of the 4 games taking place, I have absolutely nothing for Leganes v Villarreal or Las Palmas v Real Betis.
Getafe v Valencia is a game I have my eye on though. Valencia are a very good side this term and the odds of 2.3 that Pinnacle have on the books for an away win seem like a gift to me. I’m very happy to be on that one.
More of a risk is a bet on Eibar to prevail at home against Espanyol. Pinnacle are again ahead of the market on this one with odds of 2.43 for a home win. There’s a reasonable amount of value in this one, enough for me to get involved. I’m quite tempted to go for Eibar to Win To Nil but I think I’m best off sticking with what I’ve got.
There’s no bet in the last game of the weekend as Girona take on Alaves. I’m happy with the bets I’ve got and I’m not willing to force things just to have a bet.
