Milwaukee Bucks vs. Indiana Pacers

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – 06:00 PM EDT at Gainbridge Fieldhouse

Pacers Turning Up the Heat While Milwaukee Falls Apart

The Milwaukee Bucks did not only lose Game 4 in Milwaukee, but they also lost their hope. Milwaukee was already in a precarious position, but losing Damian Lillard to an Achilles injury had to have hurt their spirit. Now the Bucks are in serious trouble, and the future is not looking too bright either.

Will Milwaukee star Giannis Antetokounmpo ask out of Milwaukee if he loses this series? Milwaukee has been a cautionary tale on how to ruin an MVP player’s chances to win another championship. Milwaukee traded Jrue Holiday, the heart and soul of their defense, while downgrading at head coach with the past his prime Doc Rivers at the helm.

While the focus of this game is the Milwaukee Bucks and their obvious misfortune, we must also praise the Indiana Pacers for their ability to shut down the Bucks. The Pacers got an easy 129-103 win on Sunday night. The Pacers are up 3-1 and will win the series tonight.

The Pacers made the Eastern Conference Finals last season. The play of Pascal Siakam has been key to the Pacers’ success in the series, and we can expect another good performance from the man who is averaging 20 points and seven rebounds during this playoffs. Siakam has also been excellent on the defensive end, and his contributions to this team cannot be understated.

Milwaukee has lost their spirit, and I don’t see how they keep this game close tonight. Milwaukee will have a lot of soul searching to do in the off season as they clearly do not have the right coach or the right roster to build a championship team around Giannis. Milwaukee’s offseason of trying to fix this problem will begin tonight after the Pacers blow out the Bucks. Take the Indiana Pacers.

Detroit Pistons vs. New York Knicks

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – 07:30 PM EDT at Madison Square Garden

Don’t Count Detroit Out Just Yet

Detroit Pistons fans have to be disappointed and optimistic at the same time. They have to be disappointed in failing to win either game of this series at home, but optimistic about the future of this franchise with superstar Cade Cunningham. Detroit had a chance to win Game 4 at home, but they fell 94-93. The Pistons had plenty of opportunities to get the win, and a last second shot by Cunningham went in and out. That’s how close the Pistons were to winning.

The Knicks will be looking to close this series out tonight and move ahead to their matchup against the Boston Celtics. However, the Pistons have shown that they are very close to the Knicks in talent, and this will be another close game. The Pistons will not give up and will fight to the end. Take the Pistons plus the points.

Orlando Magic vs. Boston Celtics

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – 08:30 PM EDT at TD Garden

Magic Might Not Win, But They’ll Fight to Cover

The Magic have an excellent team, they just need more secondary scoring options. The Magic have one of the top defenses in the league, but unfortunately, they have the 29th ranked offense. This has been on display this series as the Magic have only scored 100 points once. That was in the 109-100 loss to the Celtics in Game 2. The Magic put up 98 points in their 9 point loss to the Celtics in Game 4.

The Celtics are obviously going to advance and move on to a series against the New York Knicks, but the question is…will they cover the 12 point spread tonight? The Magic are 2-2 against the spread in this series.

With their season on the line, the Magic will go all out and will not lose this game by double digits. The Celtics will win, but Orlando will keep this close. Take the Magic plus the points.

Los Angeles Clippers vs. Denver Nuggets

Tuesday, April 29, 2025 – 10:00 PM EDT at Ball Arena

Clippers Aint Done Yet

The Clippers and the Nuggets played two close games in Denver, and they split those games. Then they went back to LA, where the Clippers got a huge 117-83 win in Game 3. It seemed like the Clippers were ready to take control of this series and were laying six and a half points at home to Denver in Game 4. Denver shocked the world with the most exciting ending to a playoff game we have seen this season, with an Aaron Gordon alley-oop slam dunk giving them a 101-99 win over the Clippers in Game 4.

This series can go either way, and it’s probably going to be seven games. The total has gone under in the first four games of this series, and that is reflected by the current line of 208.5. Only Game 1 would have gone over this total. The last two games that these two teams played have landed on 200.

Denver has had problems covering the spread as of late and is 2-14 ATS in their last 16 home games. I believe the zig zag will be in effect here, and the Clippers will bounce back with a road win. The series is going 7, but the Clippers win tonight. Take the Los Angeles Clippers moneyline.
