With the Cardinals and the Commanders as the last two teams on bye, Week 14 promises to be electric. Adding to the thrill, we have the season’s final Monday Night Football doubleheader.
Off We Go
The action kicks off on Thursday, December 7, with an AFC clash between the Patriots and the Steelers. Not the most attractive matchup given the way the season has turned out for New England. However, it should be interesting to see if they can manage to score some points after being shut out by the Chargers, 6-0, in Week 13.
Things pick up on Sunday as we get six divisional matchups that will be fundamental to the playoff picture. At 1 PM, the Lions visit the Bears and at 4:25 PM, the Chargers will do the same in Denver against the Broncos.
Standout Game
However, the standout game in the late afternoon slot will undoubtedly be the showdown between Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes as the Bills visit Arrowhead to take on the Chiefs.
Could this be the highlight of the entire schedule? It’s quite possible, but all eyes will be on the Eagles and the Cowboys as the NFC East rivalry takes center stage on Sunday Night Football.
For the Monday doubleheader, the Titans and the Dolphins will go head-to-head in Miami, while the Packers will journey to New York to face the Giants.
