The action for Week 5 begins on Thursday, October 5, when the Bears visit the nation’s capital to play the Commanders. Given the matchup, we don’t blame you if you’re already looking ahead. Justin Fields has looked awful and it wouldn’t be a surprise if Chicago continues to be winless after Thursday Night Football.
First Bye Week
Another important detail is that we get the first set of bye weeks. The four teams resting on Week 5 are:
- Cleveland Browns
- Los Angeles Chargers
- Seattle Seahawks
- Tampa bay Buccaneers
Continental Breakfast
On Sunday, we have another 12+ hour football marathon, starting with the Jaguars and the Bills in an electric matchup in London at 9:30 AM ET. Back in the good ol’ US of A, the 1 PM slate offers intriguing games: the Ravens visiting the Steelers and the Giants heading to Miami to play the Dolphins.
Easy Sunday Vibes
In the late afternoon window, fans and bettors will be treated to the Chiefs playing in Minny and the Jets joining the Mile High club in Denver. However, the best is saved for SNF with another edition of the Cowboys vs. 49ers rivalry, this time in the Bay Area.
GB In Prime-Time
Finally, the Packers kick off their five prime-time games by visiting Las Vegas to play the Raiders. Will Jordan Love bounce back or should the Packers start thinking of a move to Sean Clifford?
