Carter Verhaeghe has proved to be very useful for the Florida Panthers following his move from state rivals Tampa Bay back in 2020. Following his first season in the league with Tampa, Verhaeghe moved to cross-state rivals the Florida Panthers. A move which has ultimately ended with a Stanley Cup and the right to call himself the second highest scorer for Florida since his move in 2020.

Nikita Kucherov has been one of the NHL’s most dangerous attacking players in the previous few seasons. Last season alone Kucherov scored an eye watering 144 points, making him the top points scorer throughout the regular season, as well as scoring 7 points in just five playoff games before getting sent home during the first round.
So what does the Russian rifle go and do then? Bangs in a hat trick and one assist in the season opener against the Carolina Hurricanes, winning 4-1, Kucherov had a hand in every goal. It’s no small feat to score four goals against the Hurricanes on the road.

There’s no doubt Kucherov is at the peak of his powers right now, at age 31 Kucherov has scored 876 regular season points in 726 games, and throughout the playoffs, he has scored 167 points in 147 games.
The Vancouver Canucks should be easy pickings for this Tampa Bay team who might have just gotten their mojo back, having won back-to-back Stanley Cups in recent years, they’re still a team capable of beating anybody on their day.
