It’s Thursday night and you know what that means, a big slate of NHL for us to get stuck into. Theirs 12 games taking place tonight, here are three of our favorite value picks ahead of tonight’s action.

We are targeting Dylan Larkin to get back on the scoreboard in Detroit, Tampa Bay, and Columbus total line is worth targeting, and Boston has value on home ice. Check out the betting odds on these selections at top sportsbooks for potential wagering opportunities.

Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Columbus Blue Jackets

Thursday, November 02, 2023 – 07:00 PM EDT at Nationwide Arena

Under Total Line Seems Generous

It’s funny initially we were looking at the over in this matchup but when we see the odds on the ender 6.5 line coming in at -110, we were very happy to consider the under.

Despite these two teams being strong scorers and somewhat weak defensively, tonight’s matchup might be a low-scoring affair, either way, this line and these odds are too good to pass up on.

The Columbus Blue Jackets score 2.5 goals and allow 3.3 goals per game whilst Tampa Bay score 3.5 per game and allow 3.1. Both teams only combine for 5.8 and 6.6 goals per game and when we take a look at the under 6.5 goal line, we see the Columbus Blue Jackets this season are 1-5 to the over 6.5 goals line when on home ice.

The Pick

Tampa Bay is 2-1 to the over when playing on the road this season. This game could end on 10 goals or 5/6, but we are happy to take the under in tonight’s matchup and believe this is betable down to -120 on the under 6.5 line.

Florida Panthers vs. Detroit Red Wings

Thursday, November 02, 2023 – 07:00 PM EDT at Little Caesars Arena

Dylan Larkin (Detroit Red Wings)

Despite Dylan Larkin being the Detroit Red Wings top points scorer this season with 15 points (3rd highest in the NHL) he is currently 2 games without a point and three games without a goal.

That said his previous two games were on the road and Larkin enjoys being on home ice much better than on the road as he has scored on average 2 points per game whilst playing on home ice this season with 10 points in 5 games.

Whilst on the road Larkin has scored 5 points in 5 games, and three of those points came in one game, making it just one point in the other four games.

Back on home ice we like Larkin’s chances of scoring 2+ points tonight and we absolutely love the odds at +180 with BetOnline, in our opinion this is good down to as low as +160.

The Pick

Larkin didn’t even manage a single shot in the previous game, so he should be up for tonight’s game against a beatable Florida Panthers team who can be very inconsistent. The Panthers have done well in recent games to keep goals out but we believe tonight they might finally ship a few if the Red Wings are up for this.

Toronto Maple Leafs vs. Boston Bruins

Thursday, November 02, 2023 – 07:30 PM EDT at TD Garden

Bruins Value to Win on Home Ice

The Boston Bruins are valued to win on the Moneyline on home ice tonight at -110 with BetOnline, right now they are a much better and more dominant team than the Toronto Maple Leafs. -110 is almost disrespecting the Bruins here as we believe they would have been in around -125/-130 to win on the moneyline.

Boston currently has a record of 8-0-1 having not lost a game in regulation this season whilst Toronto has a record of 5-3-1 and is coming off back-to-back losses added to the fact they have only won in 3 of their previous 10 games at the TD Garden.

The Pick

Of course, the Maple Leafs could win tonight but the value lies with Boston, they look like a much more solid and consistent team than Toronto right now and we are more than happy to lay -110 with Boston in this matchup.
