The Ultimate Fighting Championship returns to Seattle for the first time in twelve years for an action-packed evening of octagon violence as Henry Cejudo and Song Yadong headline the evening’s festivities. And, of course, I’m here to supplement your UFC parlay betting needs with the perfect parlay selections.
Below are two of my favorite moneyline selections from the UFC Seattle fight card. After thoroughly analyzing these UFC odds and betting markets, I think they present the perfect pairing for this week’s edition of the ‘Punching Parlay.’

Klein: The Story So Far
I don’t know who Nick Klein rubbed up the wrong way, but UFC matchmakers have placed him against an incredibly dangerous opponent for his UFC debut. He’ll need to be laser-focused to match his contract-winning round-one rear naked choke victory on Dana White’s Contender Series last October.

Abdul-Malik: The Story So Far
Last November saw the promotional debut of Mansur Abdul-Malik, and it took him just 2 minutes and 44 seconds to finish an eight-fight experienced UFC middleweight in Dusko Todorovic. With only seven fights on his pro-career record, albeit seven straight victories and six KOs, it’s too early to start getting excited, but from what we’ve seen thus far, the MMA Masters prodigy could be shaping up as a serious problem for the 185lb division.

UFC Seattle Klein vs. Abdul-Malik: Skillset Breakdown
Without throwing too much shade on Klein, he couldn’t have been matched up with a worse opponent this weekend. On paper, we’re looking at two up-and-coming fighters fresh from DWCS. However, the reality is the wrestling and preferred grappling style of Klein is far too basic and underdeveloped to match the wrecking ball of athleticism that is Abdul-Malik.
We don’t have a wealth of fight tape to study for this one, but Abdul-Malik running through Wes Schultz is very telling. Schultz has a respected wrestling background, and although he managed to squeeze out of a few sticky moments, he was ultimately avoiding the inevitable… an Abdul-Malik knockout.
Then you have Klein, whose takedowns aren’t great for a UFC level. In addition, he doesn’t have the power on the feet to stop Abdul-Malik from doing whatever he pleases. I envision a murder this Saturday, and whether Klein can somehow survive the first round or not, eventually, we’re going to see another highlight reel for the specimen that is Mansur Abdul-Malik!
Abdul-Malik by KO/TKO Reasoning
The available UFC odds with Bookmakers Review favor Abdul-Malik at a ridiculous moneyline price of -1000. And I say ridiculous because there’s no value, but trust me, the American savage that’s won all of his pro bouts inside the distance is warranted as UFC Seattle’s heaviest favorite.
The value isn’t great, but Abdul-Malik’s win by KO/TKO at -205 is hugely greater than the ML, and, in all honesty, I don’t envision any other way this fight ends. Klein has no choice but to enter the pocket and attempt takedowns, and when he does, he’s going to meet a force of offensive strikes that will put him out or even get grounded by his opponent’s wrestling, leading to a ground-and-pound stoppage.

Ruziboev: The Story So Far
Nursulton Ruziboev steamrolled his first two UFC opponents inside the first round. The heavy-hitting Uzbek was thrown to the wolves against Joaquin Buckley and couldn’t pass the test. Fortunately, matchmakers have taken a step back. Still, perhaps it’s too far because the debuting Eric McConico might be a walk in the park for Ruzbiboev’s attempt at returning to the win column.

McConico: The Story So Far
Eric McConico is 34 years old and making his UFC debut. Should we wave the red flags? Maybe, but what’s more concerning than his age is the level of competition he’s fought to date. The Tuff-N-Uff promotion from which McConico arrives isn’t exactly known for harboring talent, and the five-fight win streak that caught the UFC’s eye presents a combined record from those opponents ( 59-39-0) that isn’t desirable.

UFC Seattle Ruziboev vs. McConico: Skillset Breakdown
Ruziboev isn’t the greatest, and I don’t anticipate him reaching the upper echelon of the welterweight division. However, he undoubtedly has the potential to reach the top 15 rankings, and although his flaws are apparent, it will take an opponent of a certain caliber to expose them.
Unfortunately for McConico, I don’t believe he’s that guy! With a lack of volume on the feet and as the less talented striker overall, we can expect his usual game plan of hunting takedowns, which might be a struggle against Ruziboev’s incredibly large frame and the incoming firepower coming his way.
Without the cage-pushing and bullying style, McCanico is tough with great cardio. However, we’ve watched him get hurt by a much lower level of competition in the past, and in his regional scene efforts, a low fight IQ has been displayed. He doesn’t have the technical prowess to match Ruziboev’s striking nor the defensive skills to avoid punishment. Therefore, I wouldn’t be shocked if the Uzbek collected another knockout victory.
Ruziboev Moneyline Reasoning
The available top-rated sportsbooks favor Ruziboev, and rightfully so. UFC debutants have been a complete fade recently, and I believe McConico is live to join that group. He doesn’t have any standout skills or a resume that makes me believe he can cause any complications in Ruziboev’s hard-hitting, sniper-like striking.
