I turned the game off after they got that first down, and all they had to do was kneel the ball twice. Learned several hours later after watching a movie that they lost.

Miami Mario did this at Oregon multiple times. Did this in an Oregon v Stanford game and they fumbled and Stanford won. #horriblecoach He clearly didn't learn from these horrible calls so get ready for more.

Wow that's horrible but not too surprising. Coaches make stupid decisions all the time and get paid a lot of money to do it. He does deserve to get fired for that for sure because that was a game they definitely had in the bag if he took a knee.

Fair comment. Van Dyke is a veteran.

You'd think that he'd motion to the sidelines and maybe point at the clock. The OC is new, my take is that he was deferring to the OC's play-call. Ergo, stupidity all around.

I’m one of these disgruntled Miami fans knowing our season was over in that extremely ignorant moment. I turned the game off before that play knowing they got a 1st down & all they had to do was kneel twice.
