sf49rs last superbowlwim was 1994.now re b.purdy.he does not have to be a top shelf qb.he has mccaffrey plus other fine guys on offense.the defense is stellar. bosa etc.purdy has to avoid turnvrs.

Strange line SD being a slight favorite on the road. Padres six games under 500 on the road and Yu Darvish has an abysmal road ERA. For conversational purposes only why do you like the Padres today ?

Is it only for the fact that they ended the first half of the season 5-1 or are you seeing something else with this game. Tell us your thoughts on why are you like this game if you would ?

How is it possible, after 4 days of no games (except all-star game), MLB coaches don't have their starting pitchers named for today, especially Oakland??? They only had 1 guy make the All-Star game and that was a designated hitter.

Damn near the entire roster for every team is rested up and a couple of coaches can't name a starter. WTH?
