can the oakland mlb team surpass the 120 losses of the 1962 mets.well continuing the trend after 124 games they will 24-100 as they are now 12-50.that leaves 38 games to lose 21 more.certainly feasible.

So what stands out to me is two things:
  1. The Miami and Milwaukee are in the bottom 6. They are both vying for leads in their divisions and have 0.541 & 0.533 records respectively. So, their pitching must be carrying them to remain competitive while their runs score is so low

  2. St Louis is in the top 10 in scoring yet they are in last place in NL central with 0.410 record. I have a feeling they will eventually climb out of last and become competitive to make playoffs in the NL.

Based on their scoring and their opponents scoring YTD, STL should have 5 more wins and be at 30-31 record. Their 25-36 record indicates some bad luck.

Miami on the other hand has 6 more wins than expected based on scoring. Instead of 33-28 record, they should be well below 0.500 at 27-34. Luck has been on their side so far.
