Week 1 of the NFL is in the books

And we have 2 Bonehead Coach awards

First up is the Houston Texans' Lovie Smith

Tied at 20-20 with 20 seconds left in overtime, 4th & 3 from the opponent's 49 yard line, Smith tucks his tail between his legs, and plays for the tie by punting the ball away, instead of trying to get closer for a winning FG attempt

But he was to be outdone by the Denver Broncos' rookie head coach Nathaniel Hackett on Monday Night

Hackett's first sign of being clueless was when Denver was driving for the winning field goal

Approximately 1 minute Left, at Seattle's 46 yard line, Hackett (and Russell Wilson) let over 30 seconds run off the clock before calling a timeout, leaving them only 20 seconds left!

And if that wasn't bad enough, as Denver is now faced with 4 & 5, with 20 seconds still on the clock, and 2 timeouts still in their pocket, Nathaniel Hackett decides to attempt a 64 yard FG, rather than try & get closer

I think we'll all agree being a Rookie NFL Coach is no excuse for being a Clueless Coach

We have two early MLB games today ladies & gentlemen, as well as international sports

Let's build our bankroll so that we're playing with house money come Thursday night

Peyton Manning about to lose it on that time out ordeal. Everyone in the booth and watching the game waiting and wanting a time out except the so-called pro football coach.
