This looks good. Has a feel of the 1990s basketball movies. There was some real god ones in the 90s like he got game or above the rim. Can't think of a good basketball movie since.

As far as Sandler movies I wanted to like The longest yard as the original is one of my favorite movies growing up with Burt Reynolds. The remake was nowhere near as good. I loved Sandler in Uncut Gems. How could any degen not love it. Such an under-rated movie. I didn't even hear about it until it was already on an HBO or something like that. Must see if you haven't.

His performance in Uncut Gems was terrific.

Movie looks ok but don't have high hopes for it seeing Lebron James name listed as a co-producer. Not enough of a basketball nut to get into it unless there is some twist the trailer didn't hint at. But probably watch if bored enough, Netflix hasn't been so reliable lately. Partially because I had to spend weeks clearing out my ex gf's kids watch history and my recommendations are straight up trash now.

Holy shit. never even thought about that. That must be a hassle. I know on peacock or one of the apps only my kids crap comes up so had to make a separate viewing account.

Yes it was extremely frustrating, I could go on and on about it. I had to go into my full watch history under account settings and must have spent two hours clearing things the kid watched. Every so often I'd stumble on something I also watched or liked and I'd leave those. This after I had manually been clearing watch history for weeks from the main page until I realized there was a more efficient way.

But now you can assign a PIN to your Netflix profile to prevent unwanted viewers from tanking your recommendations. Hope mine recover at some point.

Sandler was typecast and became a joke but he made so much money it didn't matter. I think he is getting more selective now and taking roles that interest him.

Then you'll understand how he started it all...
