Mac Jones looked so promising his rookie season

Not sure he has much help offensively though

Ok Mac Jones has been shit no doubt. I didn't watch every play but from what I saw defenders were all over him constantly. Nobody would have a chance with that offensive line.
What should he have done to avoid the safety? He was throwing from the end zone. They were on him immediately after the snap. I'm asking this for discussion.
