Another athlete is lying about an incident and making it a racial issue.

White Sox shortstop Tim Anderson, who is black, said that in the first inning, Yankees player Josh Donaldson said "What's up Jackie?" to him.

Tim Anderson: "He just made a disrespectful comment," Basically he was trying to call me Jackie Robinson. 'What's up, Jackie?' I don't play like that. I don't really play at all. I wasn't really going to bother nobody today, but he made the comment and you know it was disrespectful and I don't think it was called for. It was unnecessary."

But here's the rest of the story:

Josh Donaldson, who is white, said the "Jackie" comment was in reference to a 2019 interview with Sports Illustrated in which Anderson described himself as feeling like "today's Jackie Robinson" in how he's "getting to a point where I need to change the game."

So Donaldson was merely taking a shot at Anderson for ridiculously comparing himself to the great Jackie Robinson.

Donaldson said he's also joked around with Anderson about it in the past.

Boils down to Tim Anderson not being able to take the jabs being thrown his way, so he misleads everyone into believing a lie to make the other person look bad and overshadow his own stupid original comment and comparison.

I had only heard the first part of the story (Anderson's take) and Donaldson never denied it in the press so I just assumed it was a racist comment.

But, now there is a basis for why Donaldson called him Jackie that is not racist in the least bit. It was only a shot at Anderson for thinking he's the next great Jackie Robinson. Wow. I guess the White Sox and Larussa need to apologize to Donaldson and the Yankees.

I seen it posted everywhere as being racists than I seen his interview. What a fvcking joke. Equivalent to some young player saying they are the next Jordan. Of course, they are gonna get hammered with "hey Mike's".. Same reason Vitty gets hammered where ever he goes. He acts like he is the greatest than cries to Mods when he is teased. Nothing new in the Pvssy woke world. Weak people know how to dish it out and cry because they can't take it.

I do the same exact thing Donaldson did with Vitty but most don't realize it. That Run DMC "Down with king" video i post. Yeah it is a great song but part of Vitty's fake WWF personas is copied word for word from Philadelphia's most hated/Loved sports talk radio host Howard Eskin. Eskin is a rating genius and has been for the last 30-40 years. His most famous acts? Having viewers "Call me King" or "I have never had a bad day in my life." Boy, where have we heard that before?? :lmao:
