Odd - but yea I agree animals don’t see race - they see friend or not a friend.

If not a friend - they are gonna protect their turf if they can - if they can’t they will flee. Simple as that.

Humans don't have races. It is a human race with different ethnicities and cultures. Humans have prejudices just like animals difference is animals can't be shamed for exhibiting natural behavior.

Could it be the smell? I'm not trying to stereotype here but, I've worked with several people from India (engineers) and they do kind of smell.

I think in their culture they have different wash habits than Americans. It could be anyone from India is like that not just those with Indian heritage. Not sure though.

Also, they cook with a ton of curry which lingers on clothes forever. Maybe your dog hates that smell.
