i just heard today so many flights was delayed just today

Driving up to higher altitudes. Every 1000 feet in altitude results in 5 degrees cooler weather. I'll be spending the weekend in elevations of 2000 feet higher in altitude (10 degrees cooler) and 4000 feet higher in altitude (20 degrees cooler).

I remember a few years ago when it was 115 at home. It was 95 degrees at 5200 feet and with dry air it was great. Also, altitudes like this often have pine trees so no fireworks are permitted except for municipal fireworks shows. I love it every year.
