Arkansas QB Situation

Arkansas goes to Mississippi St for an 11 am game on Sat. Oct. 8. I would be careful with this as the starting QB (KJ Jefferson) took a hit last Saturday that caused him to hit his head on the ground and left him groggy. They are holding their cards close to the vest as to his condition for their game this Saturday. I will post in this thread if I get any (reliable) info.

Starting QB KJ Jefferson did not practice on Mon or Tue. I don't look for him to play on Saturday but this is just my opinion. They are trying new players in the defensive backfield to try to stop the bleeding concerning the long pass completions. It will be interesting to see who will start at QB if Jefferson is out. They have a Senior transfer from South Florida that played late vs Alabama last week. They also have a very fast Sophomore Malik Hornsby that have been sharing reps in practice. Will update tomorrow or Fri.

After hearing the PC I don't think KJ Jefferson will play Saturday. I don't know what they have at the QB slot with these 2 players other than I am aware Hornsby can fly. I watch every game the Pigs play and I agree with both of the posts above other that them being lucky to win 3 more. The D is atrocious, especially on the back end(they are switching a WR over to DB this week) . I don't like to wager against the Hogs but I will if I think I have the advantage. That being said I am not going to lay 8 and take Miss. St. as I just cannot do it.

The cocksuckers let an A&M team that struggles to score beat them last week because they couldn’t hit a chip shot field goal with no time left.

My advice is fade both these teams though A&M gets fuccking lucky as Miami couldn’t score but three field goals vs. so let’s say A&M has good defense but we shall see when they play somebody.

Local TV pre-game crew at the stadium say KJ is out. But did leave a little wiggle room. I don't think he will play. If and it is a big IF the OL can protect the Pigs have an out right shot. I am going to wait right up to game time before I decide. If Hornsby starts I am looking forward to see what he has. Good luck gang!!!!!

Hey Bubbles, I drank the "kool-aid" in the preseason thinking the offensive line would dictate the time of possession. They are all upper class men with starting experience. They travel to Utah for a contest against BYU. I have no idea how they respond. I do know they lost 2 more players from an already depleted defensive back field during the game Saturday. GL!!!
