Best Video Doorbell?

I recently had a video doorbell from a company called Blurams. I took it off the mount to charge it and the charging port is broke. Now it will not charge. in the market for a new one. I had a Ring doorbell before which was okay but wouldn't mind something different.

What do you guys have? What do you recommend?

My family bought a camcorder in 1996. I took possession of it after both my parents passed away.

I've built a 3 tiered shelf next to the door. I put the camcorder on there. The doormat says, Before you ring, enter the log,press the red button and take a candy. I have the camcorder on one tier, a bucket of candy bars in the bottom tier and the middle tier has a clipboard getting essential info from the visitor including the time they start and stop camcorder.

hopefully, the VCR repair man makes and appearance soon. ,
