Betus unethical games, cheating me on rollover

I've been a long time player at Betus. I deposited last year around NFL playoffs and took a bonus. Since football ended I basically stopped betting with a rollover of 30k left. In the last 2 weeks of football in August, I made six wagers of 30k, meeting my rollover. Then Wednesday I go to withdraw and suddenly it says my rollover is 50k!

Every rep I talk to there is totally incompetent and just keeps repeating the rules of how freeplay and rollover work. What none of them can explain is how my rollover went UP. They keep saying they will generate some ticket to look into it, then nothing happens.

What I did discover is they just changed their rules on September 5 such that only up to $2000 of any wager counts towards rollover. Before it was $5000, which is already pathetic. Action is action. So what I think happened is their system went back and treated all my wagers, even those from 9 months ago, as only counting towards 2k towards rollover.

This is BS and is equivalent to suddenly increasing someone's rollover arbitrarily in the middle of meeting it. All my old bets should count 5k towards the rollover and, if it were relevant, all future bets should count 5k towards the rollover until it's met.

Betus is trying to do a makeover and say they take winning bettors now and don't limit everyone but it's still idiots running it apparently. There must be 1000s of people affected by this which is a small form of theft.

They’re terrible. I deposited there a few months ago, and my “account manager” called me 10x in a row from different numbers at 11:30pm. I finally picked up and he was upset that I didn’t submit my deposit through him. I told him he just costed them my business.

The lower of risk/reward has always been the base for counting towards a roll - I/e bet 5k to win 2k at -250 it counts as a 2k towards roll - likewise bet 2k at +250 and it counts only as 2k.

Any deviation from this is outside of industry standards and should be called out explicitly.

Normal rules apply of course - live bets don’t count, racebook/casino/poker dont count and props don’t count. Some books limit to bets under -/+ 200 or so. But a straight bet pre match should count for the full amount.

Every industry trend is downward. First all sorts of stuff only counts as half roll. Now even an NFL spread bet only counts towards roll towards some amount. What's next?

I referred a friend to BetUS and ended up dealing with their confusing casino bonus. (The sports betting side was straightforward.) The big mistake I made was not realizing there were actually two separate rollovers for the casino bonus. Only by fully understanding the fine print did I figure that out. After the initial bonus cash rollover was completed and released, there was a second rollover—this time, all my funds, including the bonus and winnings, were locked in until that was played through.

I wasn't too happy about having to wager around $50k on virtual slot machines, not to mention spending hours trying to reduce the volatility.

When I discovered the second rollover, I just wanted to forfeit the bonus and withdraw, but of course, the casino manager refused.

I guess the department met their targets and got their numbers looking good. Guess how many more referrals I'll be sending their way after that experience? Cut off your nose to spite your face; Enjoy not measuring the right KPIs, morons. To the bottom of the drain with you.

So can you bust out before then and/or shop well enough to not pay so much juice? Unlikely.

Plus we learned from daib that their rules can change at any time and unfairly/retroactively affect your bets.

Wow these guys are weasels. They cold-called me (like usual) and offered 100% bonus. I specifically asked what the RO would be and the guy said 14x. So I deposited $1,000. Once the money is in the guy calls me back and says it's gonna be 28x and there's nothing he can do.
