I just found this site and I love it. A forum still geared toward offshore. For the life of me I do not understand the decision of SBR to switch to US based sites. Well I do "get it" but I am not sure how their model will generate any long-term revenue. The biggest issue with offshore has always been trust. Will I get paid? The legal sites don't have this issue. What is the point of an offshore forum if not to help serve as a watchdog. Yes you can gather handicappers or people to chat but how does this generate revenue.
Right now the US sites are pumping out ad dollars. At some point they will start to look at return on ad dollar. I don't think a site like SBR will be able to bring the goods to keep the $$ flowing.
Meanwhile enter BMR. Still watchdogging, still mediating disputes, still offering offshore odds. The future is bright here. When this forum is the biggest on the net in a couple of years remember who said it here.
