Knight made an interesting comment about Damon Bailey.

Based on Damon's skill/intelligence, Knight felt like he never got less out of a player's potential. In my opinion, it had to do with Damon being under the spotlight from such a young age.

Can't be healthy to be under the microscope 24/7. As if he could never relax.

Its strange that the day before Coach Knight died I was looking on Youtube for some of his classic tirades. The stuff this man said were absolute gold and just hilarious to listen to. He must've droped 50 F Bombs in one 2 minute speech to his team lmao.

Genie, it was really just a coincidence. I had no prior knowledge of Coach Knight's dire condition.

With the Coll Bask season kicking off this week, I was reviewing some old clips. With Bobby, you always got both sides. The physical contact with players was uncalled for.

Going thru my Hoosier nostalgia this week. Most of white-guys were fans of Steve Alford and Damon Bailey. Those guys gave us hope.

Steve would go thru the basketball stations that his dad put on video. Damon had a similar routine of shooting at 6am at the local gym.

Look up Bobby Knight angry halftime speech on Youtube. The speech he gave to his players before a game against rival Purdue is one of the ones that pops up and the expletives are not edited out. It's hilarious to hear him talk to his players the way he did but the thing was they started to play better after he gave that speech.
