I did not see a "horseracing" forum but the Breeders' Cup is this weekend. The post positions will be drawn this afternoon. I am going to the casino joining a buddy as we do every year. Don't know if anyone here has interest but I enjoy these two days of racing. Being held at Delmar this year.

I enjoy horse racing but usually just bet the triple crown races unless I go to the track (closest ones to me are Turf Paradise or Los Alamitos)

Australia's biggest race of the year, The Melbourne Cup, runs in about 12 hours time.

About 80% of population has a bet on it so pools are massive. There is even a public holiday off work for it.

My brother is a bit of a sharp at Aussie horses and tells me 2, 3 and 12 should be the trifecta.

The worst day to bet horses , large fields and too many great horses if anything bet your telephone numbers in exacta boxes just as good a chance as any.

I haven’t followed racing this year at all. It will be a blood bath for me. No Saratoga, Delmar, or anything else.

I did hit the pick six the year mucho macho man won.

Betanysports now has a $1 minimum bet when 5dimes and Betanysports (pre-update)had a $.25 cent minimum bet.

I play pick 5’s and 6’s with a lot of coverage so that kind of dampened me playing the horses.

I talked to BAS and they said they’ll lower the minimum bet to 25 cents for me starting tomorrow. Not sure if it’s only applicable to me or Everyone.
