It looks like his time with the Bills is finished before it even started. I wonder if the allegations are untrue if he would get picked up by anyone else in the future and furthermore I wonder who's going to be the punter for the Bills this season?

My wife was telling me about this. I responded NCAA should put together a montage film of players over the years that have lost so much over sexual assault. Could be a long infomercial go back to players even before these kids were born. Show it every year for incoming and they would sit through four years in a row.
Reminisce about an orange bowl. Arkansas had the quarterback and both running backs suspended for sexual assault the bookies took the game off the board the line was moving so fast. The Lou Holts Arkansas Razorbacks Went into the orange bowl shorthanded and won the game out right and the running back replacement set an orange bowl record

1- the OTHER side has to prove it true

2- this is not a criminal case

3- civil lawsuits require a more likely than not criteria, HOWEVER, a recent MN Supreme Court ruling changed the status of ALL alcohol related sexual incidents.

Here's what his attorney says...


Araiza’s lawyer, Kerry Armstrong, said he hadn’t reviewed the complaint but calls the rape accusation false. He said his investigator spoke to witnesses from the party who contradict the allegations against Araiza.

“It’s a shakedown because he’s now with the Buffalo Bills,” Armstrong said, adding, “There is no doubt in my mind” that Araiza didn’t rape the teen.

It would seem that the police declined to press charges based on the lack of evidence.

Basically, the CRIMINAL burden of proof could not be met (IE no DNA, no physical evidence, no witnesses)

So she decided to sue everyone involved in hopes she can get a check for $100k in a settlement....

But he got cut, and has no money. So she gets NOTHING and maybe facing a Johnny Depp/ Amber Heard liability counter suit I'd guess.
