Justin Herbert not throwing on Friday

According to Daniel Popper of The Athletic, QB Justin Herbert is "not throwing today during the period of practice open to media." Instead, QB Chase Daniel is in his place with the 1s. (Daniel Popper on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Herbert took a shot last week on Thursday night that resulted in a rib injury, and after participating on Wednesday, this isn't the strongest sign for him headed into Week 3. Playing against the Jaguars in Week 3, if Daniel starts at QB, the Chargers' entire passing game needs to be downgraded, and RB Austin Ekeler could see more work on the ground than usual.
