Do hockey players ever learn joint locks instead of throwing hay makers?

The haymakers never do anything in a fight.

Would be interesting but outside of clownig some guy by pulling his shirt over his head, I don't think you can lock up a player. Refs will probably step in before it hits the ground and they already step in when it hits the ground.
